Egbin Power Internship Programme 2025

The Egbin Power Internship Programme is a six-month industrial training program for undergraduate students in Nigeria to gain hands-on technical skills.

Egbin Power Plc. is West Africa’s largest power generation station with an installed capacity of 1,320 MW consisting of 6 units of 220 MW each. One of the biggest additions to the electricity industry in Nigeria. Our future aim is to lead the movement to ‘Light up Nigeria’ and the wider sub-Saharan African region.

The program is designed to bring what students have learnt in class to reality as well as prepare them for industrial settings.

The internship is open to the following fields of study:

  • Engineering
  • Applied Industrial Science
  • Computer Science

Eligibility Requirements for the 2025 Egbin Power Internship:

To be considered for the Egbin Power Internship, you must:

  • Be an undergraduate student at a Nigerian University
  • Be a minimum of 2:1 (Second-Class Upper Divisions) or its equivalent
